\nInteroperability and Radio Frequency\nCompatibility: the Parties agree that\nGPS and GALILEO shall be radio frequency compatible and, to the\ngreatest extent possible, interoperable at the non-military user\nlevel. In order to achieve this interoperability and facilitate the\njoint use of the two systems, the Parties agree to realise their\ngeodetic coordinate reference frames as closely as possible to the\nInternational Terrestrial Reference System.
