The\nProtocol itself covers certain technical adjustments linked to\ninstitutional and legal developments within the EU and seeks to\nreflect the EU's new landscape following enlargement.</span></span>\n<span lang=\"EN-GB\">The Protocol was signed on behalf of the EC and\nthe Member States on 30 April 2004 in accordance with Council\nDecision 2006/711/EC.
