  The European Parliament adopted the resolution by Mr Markus FERBER (EPP-ED, D) on the supplementary estimates of revenue and expenditure of the European Parliament for the financial year 2001. The House approved a request to use up Parliament's "margin" of administrative expenditure for the year 2001 to allocate some EUR 24.8m to go towards early repayments for the Brussels LOW building. This will bring the new total for Parliament's budget to EUR 1.012bn. It is now for the Commission to come up with a proposal for a supplementary budget to enable this to take place.
